Scholarship amount & benefits

• Monetary₹1,50,000(per annum)Financial assistance of up to ₹1,50,000 per year for eligible girl students pursuing a professional undergraduate degree. The assistance may support expenses such as tuition fees, hostel fees, books, stationery, transport, internet and laptop/device-related educational needs, subject to the provider’s rules.

About this scholarship

The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026–27 is a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of the Kotak Mahindra Group implemented through the Kotak Education Foundation. It supports meritorious girl students across India who have completed Class 12 and secured admission to the first year of a professional undergraduate programme during the 2026–27 academic year. Applicants must generally have obtained at least 75% marks or an equivalent CGPA in Class 12 and have annual family income not exceeding ₹6,00,000. Eligible courses may include Engineering, MBBS, Architecture, Design, Integrated LLB, Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research and other approved professional degree programmes. Selected scholars may receive financial support of up to ₹1,50,000 per year until completion of the eligible professional degree, subject to the scholarship provider’s terms, verification and selection process. Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation and Buddy4Study are not eligible.

Eligibility

The applicant must not be a child of an employee of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation or Buddy4Study. The applicant must have secured admission to the first year of the eligible course during 2026–27.

Documents needed

• •Aadhaar Card (required) — Masked Aadhaar card or another accepted identity document, according to application instructions.

• •Disability Certificate — Required only where the applicant is applying under an applicable disability-related condition.
• •Entrance Examination Scorecard (required) — Entrance-examination scorecard, where applicable.
• •Fee Structure (required) — Fee structure for the academic year 2026–27.
• •Income Proof (required) — Valid proof of annual family income not exceeding ₹6,00,000.
